PPGI is a color-coated steel sheet with GI (Galvanized Iron) as the base material, while PPGL is a color-coated steel sheet with GL (Galvalume) as the base material. The organic coatings applied on the surface (such as polyester, silicon-modified polyester, and fluorocarbon) provide excellent weather resistance, enabling the material to withstand UV rays, acid rain, and other environmental factors, ensuring long-term color and gloss retention.
PPGI uses galvanized steel as the base material, with the zinc layer offering good anti-corrosion protection, making it suitable for general corrosive environments. PPGL, on the other hand, uses aluminum-zinc-coated steel as the base material, providing superior corrosion resistance, particularly excelling in harsh environments. Both materials exhibit excellent processing performance, suitable for stamping, bending, and shearing.
