PPGI is a color-coated steel sheet with GI (Galvanized Iron) as the base material, while PPGL is a color-coated steel sheet with GL (Galvalume) as the base material. The organic coatings applied on the surface (such as polyester, silicon-modified polyester, and fluorocarbon) provide excellent weather resistance, enabling the material to withstand UV rays, acid rain, and other environmental factors.
PPGI uses galvanized steel as the base material, with the zinc layer offering good anti-corrosion protection. PPGL uses aluminum-zinc-coated steel (55% aluminum, 43.4% zinc, 1.6% silicon), providing superior corrosion resistance in harsh environments. Both exhibit excellent processing performance for stamping, bending, and shearing.
